So what is a macaron, anyway?

Not to be confused with a macaroon, a macaron is a delicate French sandwich cookie made with almond flour, powdered sugar, egg whites, and granulated sugar, making them naturally gluten free.

The ingredients come together in stages, forming a crisp shell with a chewy center.

These versatile treats come in endless varieties, with flavored fillings like buttercream, ganache, or jam, and a rainbow of colors and designs to suit any occasion!

How do I order and how much do they cost?

You can email me or message me on Facebook! Note that I don't ship them, they're only local Erie orders.

If you don't see a flavor you want, let me know! I'm constantly looking for opportunities to try new things. Give me a flavor or a shape you'd like, and I can come up with ideas! :)

As far as cost, it varies, but each macaron is around $2.50 apiece but can go up to around $4 apiece for special orders like locally sourced ingredients or fancy designs.

Why are macarons so expensive?

Macarons are so expensive because they require high-quality ingredients, precise techniques, and a lot of time to make.

Even small mistakes can ruin a batch, making them a delicate and labor-intensive treat to perfect!

In fact, I didn't even make a good batch until I had made them nine times!

How do I store or eat them?

Macarons can remain in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for three months.

They taste best if you remove them from the fridge for about 30 mintues before eating them.
